Jobs, professional experience

She started her teaching career in 1995 at the Civil Law and Procedure Department of the Law Faculty of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

In the period from 1995 to 2002, she worked as an Assistant, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor of the abovementioned Department.

In 2002 she was appointed to the position of Head of the Civil Law and Procedure Department.

In 2005, she founded the law firm «Law Centre», where she is the Head of the Department for Work with Legal Entities.

Since September 2008 she is the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Law of the State Higher Educational Institution of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

Since December 1, 2022 she is the Professor of the Civil Law Department.

V. A. Vasylyeva is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Supreme Court and the Methodological Board of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

V. A. Vasylyeva is a member of the Scientific and Methodological Board of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

In 2017 she became one of the co-founders of the Public Association «Association of Legal Institute Graduates».

V. A. Vasylyeva is a full member of the Ukrainian Bar Association.

The topic of the thesis for the Ph.D. in Law Legal Regulation of Relations under the Consignment Agreement (training program 12.00.03 «Civil Law and Civil Procedure; Family Law; International Private Law»). Research supervisor of the research topic of the Civil Law Department “Legal problems of property realization and no property person rights in the conditions of market economy” (state registration number – 0110U001557).

Educational and methodical activities

She teaches the subject “Modern Trends in the Development of Legal Science” (postgraduate program, training program 081 “Law”).

Her research interests include issues related to the law of obligations, corporate law, private international law, etc.
